60 days

So I have been away for a while, but I am back now! I have really gotten into the mood for some LOST lately. Just started to watch the whole series over until the final season (tear) comes on February 2nd!! That is exactly 60 days from today!! I am super excited...can you tell?

So, I forgot how absolutely amazing the first season is, especially the first episode. I cannot even remember watching it on TV for the first time. Like I have no idea what even possessed me to watch it in the first place, but I sure am glad I did. It is fun to go back and watch it over again. It's weird though, knowing all the stuff that we do now and to go back and watch episodes where we shouldn't have certain information...learning it all for the first time was so different and unexpected.

Well, this was short and sweet, but I am just counting to the end of the greatest show ever!

Brothers and Sisters *

Monday: One Tree Hill **
Trauma *

Tuesday: The Forgotten ***
90210 ***
V - starting Nov. 3

Wednesday: Mercy ***
Cougar Town

Thursday: FlashForward*
Grey's Anatomy **

Friday & Saturday :Whatever is on...during the day, esp. Beverly Hills 90210 and old One Tree Hills

* My new favs for this season, especially FlashForward, although it is like another LOST and sometimes it hurts my brain to think that much for watching TV.

** Have not missed an episode, but kind of disappointed as of recently.

*** Just watch for the hell of it. I love the old 90210, so I have been watching the new ones. Its pretty decent and fun to watch.

And Cougar Town is just a fun show to wacth and get a laugh.

-I wish I had watched Glee, everyone keeps tlaking about it. So I might catch up and watch it online, when I can find the time. always, looking forward to my two favorite TV shows of all time - LOST and 24. Something to look forward to in January!

Reunions with old friends are great to have. I was fortunate to have two in one day!

After work, I met with my best friend Rosa from high school for dinner. I have not really hung out with her in at least 3 years. That is almost all throughout college. We went to different colleges, so we kind of just drifted apart. It was really great catching up with her, especially when we had no reason at all to stop talking in the first place. She is a high school math teacher, which is what I originally going to do. So we have that in common. We have decided that it was stupid that we lost touch and we are going to start hanging out again. This makes me happy :)

Now the other one is a little more complicated to explain. It was with my ex-boyfriend Geoff from my freshman year of college. We probably dated for like 4 months. So not really a big deal. We were really close friends before that. Even after, we remained really good friends. He may have been my best guy friend in college. I could always go to him when some jerky guy was mean to me or whatever, and he always knew the right things to say to make me feel better. All until this one time...this one time after one of our night classes, shorlty after me and my ex Mike broke up. All three of us had the same class, so that was ackward in itself. After class, we went to a local bar, and Mike was saying some nasty things, but then Geoff left. I stayed. But then left later in histerics, I am not sure exactly why, but something to do with Mike. I kept calling Geoff while driving to his place, until he finally answered practically when I got there. I just needed him to comfort me. thing lead to another, and as Erin said "clothes came off" (haha) and then he said the stupidest thing after, which caused me to never want to speak to him again. He was always the one guy who saw me for me and not just as an object. And I had thought that fact had changed, when in reality, I kind of took it the wrong way.

Well we started talking yesterday, for almost three hours, reminiscing about the old days. And we had a little coffee date tonight and it went great. It was really good to see him and catch up, but we kept going back to the "what if" stuff. Like what if we stayed together or what if we got back together. As I have often thought about that over the years, it's a little wierd talking with him about it because he has a girlfriend. So I really do want to be friends with him again, because we do have a good time together, I just don't want the wrong thing to happen, not that it would. I don't know. It's kind of weird.

But all in all, I rekindled two old friendships today, so my advice to people is to try and catch up with an old friend. It is good for you!

So I had Homecoming yesterday. It was pretty fun...a lot of drinking. I just don't understnad why everytime I go back, there is always drama! It is rediculous. Two things-1 why would a guy tell two friends similar things, are guys really that stupid to think that we wouldn't talk to each other! 2 Why the hell do guys cheat on their girlfriends? This one guy was all super sweet to me all day and yada yada yada, then I find out this morning when I get home that he has a girlfriend...I don't get it! Boys suck!!

Anyways...I did get to see a lot of people, some of whom I could really care less if I saw or not and some that it was nice to see and talk to again. I rekindled some old friendships that I'm hoping will conitnue. Oh, also heard some of the best news ever! Some girls, who I never thought would, quit the volleyball team. I am sooo proud of them. One actually said to me "Katie, I don't know how you did it." I feel much better now knowing that because I did not quit, really made me a better person.

I am now a blogger!! I am very excited, and a little nervous, to join this community. Thanks to my lovely friends, and our blog party, I am now updated in the world of technology. Let this journey begin...
